This interactive 20 min lecture by Dr. Chankov, the program coordinator of our Industrial Engineering Program, will give you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the process of decision making in Business and Engineering, based on Methods of Purchasing. Such decisions are made every day by managers and engineers and they are vital for the production cycle of any good. You will have the opportunity to apply the learned content in a case study from the Automotive Industry. The transdisciplinary approach implemented is a symbol of Jacobs University’s teaching model. Participation is free of charge, registration is required. Participants, who successfully complete the group work, will be awarded a participation certificate. After the talk, you will have the opportunity to talk with alumni from Jacobs University. |
